OBJECTIVE The objective of this project was to create a poster that used typography to shed light on an issue of great importance.

APPROACH The social issue that I wanted to focus on is human trafficking. Human trafficking is one of the largest industries of crime in the United States. In fact, there are more human slaves now than at any other period in history. With all that has been going on with this horrific crime lately, I felt that this subject needed to be brought to light. I wanted to experiment with the idea that these traffickers see the men, women, and children that they traffic as less than human, but more of objects that are just sitting on shelves for them to purchase.
